Open House for the Public – Sunday, June 8, 1:00 to 4:00
Open House for Professionals – Tuesday, June 10, 3:00 to 6:00

GREENWOOD:  Located just south of Stones Crossing Road on SR 135, Aspen Trace is an all-new senior living community and the most recent addition to the family of communities from Bloomington-based CarDon and Associates. Open house celebrations will be held June 8th for the public and June 10th for professionals in healthcare and other fields to stop by, meet the staff, and tour Aspen Trace.

This new community offers a wide range of specialized health services and living arrangements for up to 150 residents. Private suites are available for short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care, while spacious one and two-bedroom apartment homes are designed for assisted living.

CarDon’s family-first approach to senior living and healthcare inspired the design of unique neighborhoods within Aspen Trace. Neighborhoods are conveniently arranged to create an intimate feeling of home that fosters friendships and encourages family visits, while offering easy access to a host of onsite amenities for the enjoyment of residents and their guests. These include restaurant-style dining, living rooms, community center, theater, library, activity center, beauty salon/barber, multiple outdoor courtyards, and Wi-Fi throughout.

Aspen Trace is designed for comfort, whether for residential living with customized health services or for short-term rehabilitation. A state-of-the-art, fully equipped therapy gym and home transition center are the primary settings for a full range of inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative therapies, as well as for helping individuals prepare for a successful, safe return
to the home environment.

“When community spaces are comfortable and welcoming, family members visit more often and interact with loved ones,” said Dr. Stephen Moore, president and chief executive officer of CarDon and Associates. “Doing all that we can to encourage family interaction is integral to how CarDon communities foster the well-being of residents in physically, spiritually, and emotionally healthy environments.”

CarDon is operated by Dr. Moore and his three siblings, Kathy Headley (Chairwoman of the Board), Daniel W. Moore (Vice President), and David C. Moore (Secretary).  The family-centered organization employs nearly 2,300 people. Their parents, Carroll and Donna Moore, opened the first CarDon community in 1977. With the opening of Aspen Trace, the family of communities owned and/or operated by CarDon and Associates grows to 16 locations throughout central and southern Indiana, including nine in the Indianapolis area.

The opportunity to locate Aspen Trace where it would be convenient for seniors and their families living in Greenwood, Bargersville, Center Grove, and surrounding areas was enhanced by the support of these growing communities. “We greatly appreciate the support we received and Aspen Trace wouldn’t be here without it,” said Dr. Moore. “Because we are committed to building quality communities and providing quality care, we invest in neighborhoods where people want and value our commitment.”

Aspen Trace is located at 3154 South SR 135 in Greenwood. Reservations are being accepted for all accommodations and services: assisted living, rehabilitation, long-term care, and memory care. Visitors are welcome at open house celebrations on June 8th for the public and June 10th for professionals. Private consultations can be scheduled at the onsite information center by calling (317) 535-3344. For more information, visit www.aspentrace.us or www.CarDon.us.
